One today is worth two tomorrows.
Try to come up with a blog homepage that is unique. Many blog hosts use generic lists of recent posts as your homepage, but you can make it more interesting by creating a custom homepage. This also makes it easier for search engines to find your site.
Make sure to include polls or surveys to your blog. Your site traffic will increase while giving your readers a way to interact with you and each other. Post the results as well as comments about the outcome. You could use this information to refine your blog by catering to your readers’ interests.
Do not focus too much on money. Of course, making money with your blog is possible and desirable, but if it looks like that is your only objective, readers will be completely turned off and your blog will get nowhere. Building a loyal readership takes time and if you’re not genuine your readers will not return. Start blogging on topics you’re passionate about, and this will show through in your blog’s quality.
